Attainment 8 (A8) is a government measure that shows how well students have performed across a range of subjects by the end of Year 11. It is based on students' results in eight qualifications, including English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Languages, and other approved subjects. The score reflects the average achievement of all students in the year group.
Progress 8 cannot be calculated for the 2024/25 and 2025/26 cohorts due to missing KS2 data after COVID 19; however, our latest validated scores (+0.10 in 2023/24, +0.14 in 2022/23 and +0.04 in 2021/22) show students consistently making above average progress nationally.
