Spanish

Spanish

Lessons are structured to incorporate all skills required of the modern linguist in terms of Listening, Speaking, Reading, Translating and Writing. Students are further immersed in Francophone, Spanish and Hispanic culture through cultural studies, including critiquing music, reviewing films and delving into great works of literature.
Our aim is to develop passionate, confident and successful language learners. We aim to encourage pupils to embrace the opportunity to learn another language to the best of their ability, and appreciate the target culture of Hispanic and Francophone countries.

We aim to build passion and enthusiasm so that pupils use their language knowledge at home and take every opportunity to progress independently.
