Day 1 – 23 March 2020

Over the coming days we shall be uploading a series of challenges and activities to the website to encourage everyone to keep focused whilst in isolation. In order to participate you will need to respond using the email challenge@lanfranc.org.uk

I would suggest you may respond in a number of different ways but it would be great to see some photographs of a completed problem or challenge set for that day. If you’d prefer not to show your face on the website (or we don’t have parental permission to show your face) please remember to send a photo of the completed task without you in it! Don’t forget to make it clear who you are if it’s not obvious in the photo.

I will be posting a reflection each day on one of our eight Lanfranc values, starting today with Learning. The idea is that as you reflect on what that particular value means to you that you undertake a task/ activity in response and then let us know what you’ve done. This could be anything from completing a piece of work to helping a friend/ neighbour to learning/ demonstrating a new skill.

In addition, various members of staff will be setting particular puzzles/ problems/ challenges each day. Send in your completed responses to challenge@lanfranc.org.uk and we will compile and publish a leaderboard showing who has completed the most tasks and who stands in what position in the rankings. This will also provide an opportunity to continue to score points for your House and to earn prizes at Academy Awards.
