Years 10 & 11 visited The Saatchi Gallery in January to see the exhibition ‘Black Mirror.’
The pupils attended a workshop where they were asked to consider some of the issues dealt within the work and to create a personal response to it.
Here are some outcomes produced by the students:
Year 9 visited The National Portrait Gallery in January.
Year 9 Art students attended a workshop on ‘Image and Identity’ – students are using this visit as a starting point in developing their own response to identity/ portraiture.
Year 9 & Year 10 visited Tate Britain in February
Both sets of students are using the visit to help develop ideas for their units of work already started from previous visits to the National Portrait Gallery (yr9) and The Saatchi Gallery (yr10).
